Maintenance Schedule / Chart; A maintenance schedule also know as maintenance chart is a planned scheduled task to be performed at given calendar date, mileage or hours of operation. Maintenance requires a periodic inspection or servicing of outboard equipment during these given intervals. Avoiding preventive maintenance programs will decrease the life of the motor.

Below is a list of equipment that normally requires service on a specified monthly calender date or after an engine has reached a given amount of hours of use. In some cases parts also need to be replaced after a scheduled time. If a motor has been subjected to abuse then intervals of maintenance should be done sooner. To view exact maintenance chart for your motor see your Service Manual maintenance data section.
